Lieutenant Paul Butrim, firefighter-paramedic Kelsey Sadler and EMT-firefighter Kenny Lacayo were killed when the vacant row-home on South Stricker Street partially collapsed.
A fourth firefighter was seriously injured.
Baltimore fire stations are flying flags at half-staff today and the city observed a moment of silence this morning to mark the anniversary.
The deaths were ruled homicides, and the fire classified as incendiary, but there have been no arrests in the case.
Today we paused to honor the lives and legacies of the brave firefighters who we lost a year ago in the Stricker Street fire. We must honor Lt. Paul Butrim, Fireman Kenny Lacayo and Lt. Kelsey Sadler by ensuring this kind of tragedy never happens again. pic.twitter.com/yAF5rHmsGm
