Last year, the tournament generated an estimated $9.7 million in economic impact for the city.
It's the second year of the league's agreement with Baltimore.
The tournament will bring twelve men's and women's college basketball teams to the Charm City to compete.
The CIAA Tournament is the oldest historically Black basketball event in America.
Baltimore transportation officials say heavy traffic is expected for the duration of the tournament, which starts tomorrow and runs through Saturday.
