(Towson, MD) -- Free meals are returning to Baltimore County Public Schools, beginning with the upcoming school year.
The news was announced this week at Tuesday's school board meeting.
Deputy Superintendent Myriam Yarbrough told the board the district reallocated funds to provide the free meals program again.
The program had been suspended last summer when the federal government dropped the program which had been offered at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
