(Baltimore, MD) -- Police in Baltimore now say two people are dead and 28 were injured in a mass shooting at a block party early Sunday morning. Nine people were taken to hospitals and three are in critical condition. Whoever opened fire on the crowd in South Baltimore's Brooklyn Homes neighborhood is still on the loose. Mayor Brandon Scott and police officials are urging anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses told police they heard 20 to 30 shots fired.
