(Baltimore, MD) --Angel Reese, the Baltimore native who led the LSU women's college championship basketball team this year, will receive the Key to the City today.
Reese was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four this year.
She played high school basketball at St. Frances Academy before attending Maryland and then transferring to LSU.
Reese became a First-Team All-American and was named the 2023 Breakthrough Athlete of the Year at the ESPY Awards.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott will present her with a key to the city at 4:30pm at City Hall.
Yesterday, a Randallstown basketball court was dedicated to her.
