(Baltimore, MD) -- A large part of Maryland is under a Code Orange Air Quality Alert today.
That means air pollution concentrations will be unhealthy for children, the elderly and people with asthma, heart disease or lung conditions.
Anyone in a sensitive group should avoid strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.
The air quality alert includes the Baltimore and Washington, DC areas, Southern Maryland and much of the Eastern Shore.
