(Baltimore, MD) -- The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations in Maryland is rising.
According to the latest update from the state health department, there were 266 coronavirus patients in Maryland hospitals as of Tuesday.
That is the highest number since March.
Overall, the COVID hospital admission level is considered low at less than 10 per 100,000 residents.
The total of COVID-19 cases in Maryland since the pandemic began stands at about 1.4 million, while the number of confirmed deaths stands at more than 16,600.
