(Baltimore, MD) -- The runner-up in the race for Baltimore City Council president in 2020, Democrat Shannon Sneed, is going to make another run for the job next year.
Sneed represented East Baltimore as a member of the city council from 2016 to 2020 and left office after her loss in the race for president in 2020.
She says current city leadership has failed to keep families safe.
Other Democrats running for City Council president include incumbent Nick Mosby and Councilman Zeke Cohen.

Baltimoreans deserve better.
We deserve a city where every neighborhood is safe. A city where all our children can get a strong education. A city where our leaders are held accountable.
Let's make it happen together. pic.twitter.com/X1duGnP92M
