Two teens arrested in connection with food delivery carjacking

(Baltimore County, MD) -- Two teenagers have been arrested in the armed carjacking of a food delivery driver in Baltimore County.

The 16 and 17-year-old suspects are accused of taking the driver's car along the 5800 block of Westwood Avenue Monday afternoon.

Police spokesperson Joy Stewart says the teens were arrested Monday night in Baltimore City, just over the county line.

Investigators say the suspects drove up behind the victim's car and took it at gunpoint.

The driver was not injured. Police believe the vehicle used in the carjacking was stolen and they found it nearby after a hit and run crash.

Both teens are being charged as adults.
