(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott has released a statement following the recovery of the sixth worker killed in the collapse of the Key Bridge.

The mayor says it's impossible to overstate how important it is that each of the Marylanders have been brought home to their families and the small amount of peace and closure it brings to them.

He says nothing will fully overcome the pain of their loss but he is deeply grateful for the entire Unified Command and the salvage teams for never losing focus of the importance of recovering the victims.
