(Baltimore, MD) -- The Waterfront Partnership says Baltimore's Inner Harbor is now clean enough to swim in and they will hold a Harbor Splash swimming event on June 23rd.
The Partnership launched the Healthy Harbor Initiative in 2010 with a goal to create a swimmable and fishable harbor.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and Comptroller Brooke Lierman will kick off the event with a ceremonial jump from a floating dock at the Bond Street Wharf in Fells Point.
