(Baltimore, MD) -- Community members and local leaders are marking one year without homicides in a few Baltimore neighborhoods.
A celebration was held among Safe Streets representatives from Belvedere, Franklin Square, and Park Heights over the weekend.
Mayor Brandon Scott made an appearance, telling the group homicides are down more than 29 percent from last year.
Those working on the anti-violence initiative say they are glad to see the progress but they still have more work to do.
