(Dundalk, MD) -- Residents of Dundalk heard from the Maryland Transportation Authority on what progress is being made toward rebuilding the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
At a public hearing last night at the North Point Library in Dundalk, residents learned about steps being taken to manage traffic caused by the bridge's reconstruction.
State officials say they're suspending tolls at the Broening Highway Interchange.
Another hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday night at CCBC's Dundalk campus.
Meanwhile, state transportation officials are looking for firms to support the rebuild of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
The MDTA is accepting proposals for construction management and inspection services. Officials will award contracts to the top three firms after the October 15th deadline.
