(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore City has reached a fifth settlement in its ongoing lawsuits against opioid manufacturers and distributors.
The specific terms of the agreement with Johnson & Johnson have not been released, but the city has confirmed that there has been a settlement.
The city declined to join a global settlement offer six years ago and has been suing individual companies instead.
Without counting the Johnson & Johnson settlement, the city has already collected more than $402 million from drug companies including Allergan and CVS.
