(Baltimore, MD) -- Mayor Brandon Scott has issued an Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency in Baltimore City in response to severe winter weather expected across the region.
The order mobilizes the city's Emergency Operations Plan to deploy emergency resources, and it activates additional resources needed to tackle the emergency situation.
The State of Emergency began at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday and it will remain in effect for 48 hours, subject to renewal or cancellation as conditions warrant.
