(Baltimore, MD) -- Another five deaths in Maryland are being attributed to the cold weather.
The state health department reports there was one death each recorded in the last week in Harford, Prince George's and Wicomico counties, and two deaths in Talbot County.
Eight of this year's 12 cases involve people in the 65 and older age group.
Last winter season, Maryland recorded 72 cold-related deaths.
