Former City State's Attorney does not receive last minute pardon from Biden

FILE - Marilyn Mosby, Maryland State Attorney for Baltimore City, speaks during a news conference Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, in Baltimore. Mosby will be tried on federal perjury and mortgage fraud charges in Greenbelt, Maryland, after a judge ruled Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, that extensive media coverage of the case could have created bias among potential jurors in the Baltimore area. (Baltimore, MD) -- Former Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby was not among the recipients of a pardon on the last day of Joe Biden's presidency.

Before leaving office as Baltimore City Council President, Nick Mosby called on the President to pardon his ex-wife who is serving a year of home detention for perjury and mortgage fraud.

Mosby was not among those granted a pardon last year and she did not make the list this week.

There has been no comment from Mosby or her attorneys.
