The city of Baltimore held its first ever Black History Month Parade on Monday, February 17.
The event stepped off at noon along Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Eutaw Street.
Mayor Brandon Scott said, "we marched in honor of the DEI leaders—past and present—who have fought to make justice, equity, and inclusion a reality. Their legacy is the foundation we stand on. Let today be a reminder that our history isn’t just in the past—it’s being made right here, right now."
