(Baltimore, MD) -- The Baltimore City Council has passed a resolution that calls on the Public Service Commission to stop BGE's planned 2026 utility rate hikes.
Council President Zeke Cohen says he is proud that the resolution unanimously passed, saying enough is enough.
The resolution follows a public hearing last week when the council heard from residents who said their gas and electric bills are unmanageable.
Cohen says he plans to speak with the PSC regarding the proposed rate increase in a few weeks.
