(Columbia, MD) -- Maryland lawmakers hosted a town hall in Columbia to address the questions and concerns of federal workers amid the Trump administration's DOGE cuts.
Third District Representative Sarah Elfreth joined U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks and Howard County Executive Calvin Ball Tuesday evening to discuss what they say is an "illegal attack on public servants."
Van Hollen says what they are witnessing is a clear present danger to the country, democracy and the constitution and they will continue to fight back.
We're working 24/7 to get illegally-fired federal employees back to work. And when they do, they shouldn't have to restart their “probationary clocks” because of Elon Musk's illegal operation.
