Maryland lawmakers hold town hall for federal workers

Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth, Senator Angela Alsobrooks, Senator Chris Van Hollen, and Howard County Executive Calvin Ball

(Columbia, MD) -- Maryland lawmakers hosted a town hall in Columbia to address the questions and concerns of federal workers amid the Trump administration's DOGE cuts.

Third District Representative Sarah Elfreth joined U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks and Howard County Executive Calvin Ball Tuesday evening to discuss what they say is an "illegal attack on public servants."

Van Hollen says what they are witnessing is a clear present danger to the country, democracy and the constitution and they will continue to fight back.

The Howard County Economic Development Authority will be putting on a business resource expo for federal workers at the Kenneth S. Ulman Innovation Hub Building on March 26th.
