(Baltimore, MD) -- Officials at Southwest Airlines say they're going to cut staff at Baltimore-Washington International Airport and three California airports beginning in June.
The airline says some work groups are overstaffed at the airports.
Officials attribute the cuts to Southwest's current flight schedule and modest growth plan for this year.
Last month, Southwest announced it was making its first-ever round of layoffs by cutting more than 1,700 jobs.
