(Bowie, MD) -- A Baltimore man is facing charges for allegedly impersonating a police officer.

Maryland State Police say 60-year-old Antonieo Cole was arrested after a traffic stop in Prince George's County on Sunday.

Cole was stopped on westbound Route 50 for having expired registration tags.

During the stop, troopers spotted a bulletproof vest labeled "POLICE" a duty belt with loaded magazines, handcuffs, pepper spray, a baton, and a handgun that turned out to be a BB gun.

Cole was charged with impersonating a police officer and illegal possession of ammunition. He's been released on two-thousand-dollars bail.
