(Baltimore, MD) -- Mayor Brandon Scott has announced the plans for this year's Fourth of July celebrations in Baltimore City.
A celebration that includes fireworks will take place at the Inner Harbor and south of the downtown area there will be the inaugural collaboration between the city and the Cherry Hill Arts and Music Waterfront Festival.
The mayor says between fireworks at the Inner Harbor and a drone show at the festival, this promises to be the city's most exciting July 4th yet.
The downtown celebration will be held from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and the best views of the evening's fireworks will be from the Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, and Harbor East.
The festival in Middle Branch Park will be held from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a custom drone show set against the backdrop of the Patapsco River.
The drone show will launch from West Covington Park and the best viewing area will be on the festival grounds.
