(Baltimore, MD) -- Maryland Safe Haven will be opening a new housing facility and community hub on Friday supporting the LGBTQ-plus community.
The new center is located in a former MICA dorm on Collington Avenue, and it will offer 12 residential units offering temporary and permanent housing with wraparound services available for those needing support.
The community hub will offer workforce development, medical and mental health care.
The grand opening of the Senator Mary Washington building and Jeanette Weinberg community hub will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday.
