(Baltimore, MD) -- No Kings rallies drew thousands in Baltimore City with demonstrators protesting Trump administration policies and ICE actions politicizing the military.
Local, state and federal leaders joined city residents at Patterson Park for one of the largest gatherings where more than 2,500 turned out on Saturday.
Senator Chris Van Hollen spoke at the rally, saying the United States does not bow down to kings and won't accept a "lawless president" who disrespects the Constitution.
Our country faces grave challenges, but Americans around the country give me hope. Like the thousands I spoke to at a #NoKingsDay protest in Baltimore — patriots making clear we will NOT tolerate Trump’s lawlessness and abuses of power.
