(Baltimore, MD) -- Evictions in Baltimore City have been postponed until after Thursday due to the Code Red Extreme Heat Alert and excessive heat warning.
The stay on evictions during extreme weather was enacted following a state law that took effect last fall.
According to the Baltimore City Sheriff's Office, reschedule dates will be available after the advisory has ended.
Property owners and managers with evictions on the calendar for this week can get updates at baltimorecitysheriff.gov.
