(Towson, MD) -- Details are being released on a tentative agreement between Baltimore County teachers and the school district that includes modest pay increases.
All school employees will receive a 1% cost-of-living raise in September, with additional step and related raises delayed until January.
Union leaders say the deal represents a more than 3% increase and is worth $26 million, nearly triple the district's original offer.
Teachers Association of Baltimore County members will vote on the agreement starting on Friday.
