(Towson, MD) -- A former Sheppard Pratt nurse is facing rape charges involving a 17-year-old girl who was under his care.
Baltimore County police say 35-year-old Michael Cabanalan was arrested after investigators found text messages and surveillance footage linking him to the victim.
Detectives say the assaults happened earlier this year after the girl was discharged from the hospital and taken to an apartment in Towson.
Cabanalan remains held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
