(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore held a Vigil of Remembrance to honor the lives lost to violence, overdoses and fires in 2025.
Mayor Brandon Scott, city leaders, the faith community and residents gathered at War Memorial Plaza Monday for an evening of prayer and healing with the mayor declaring January 5th, an official day of remembrance in Baltimore.
Police Commissioner Richard Worley and Fire Chief James Wallace also paid tribute to the first responders who died while serving the city last year.
