The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter is looking for people to foster dogs through the winter storm.
BARCS says there has been an overwhelming response and there are just a few dogs left that are eligible to leave on a temporary foster placement.
Anyone who is interested in taking in a dog until Tuesday should check with the shelter between 11:30 this morning and 5:30 this afternoon.
BARCS says not only does fostering help the dogs, but it also helps the shelter staff.
A small crew will be staying at the shelter during the storm to care for the dogs that are not able to be fostered due to medical issues or pending adoptions.
