(Annapolis, MD) -- Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Lt. Governor Aruna Miller are officially running for reelection.
Moore and Miller filed their paperwork at the state elections office in Annapolis on Monday afternoon.
The governor says he and the Lt. Governor filed for reelection to continue the progress seen throughout Maryland to grow the economy, improve public schools, and double down on record drops in violent crime.
He says while President Trump's reckless policies cost residents their jobs and raise prices on everything, Maryland is showing that there's a better way forward to make the economy stronger and everyday life more affordable.
The filing deadline for candidates is 9:00 tonight.
