8 injured in crash involving MTA bus in Baltimore

(Baltimore, MD) —Eight people were taken to area hospitals early this morning after a collision involving two cars and an MTA bus in Baltimore.

The crash occurred shortly before 1:15 a.m. at 100 East Preston Street near St. Paul Street.

Baltimore City Fire Department crews responded and conducted a "complex extrication" involving one of the vehicles.

The Shock Trauma Go Team, including trauma physicians and specialists, also responded to the scene. Injuries range from very serious to minor.
