Baltimore County students face charges after Towson bus stop brawl

(Baltimore County, MD) -- Five Baltimore County students are facing charges of second-degree assault after a bus stop brawl in Towson.

The charges stem from a large fight among students near York and Lambourn roads after school on Monday. Police say two juveniles under the age of thirteen will not be charged in connection with the incident.

On Tuesday, there was a second incident involving some of the same students inside Dumbarton Middle School during a meeting with the School Resource Officer.

Police say during the meeting, a student and their parent left the office and became involved in a physical altercation with another student in a hallway.

Baltimore County Police are working with Baltimore County Public Schools which is conducting its own administrative investigation.
