(Baltimore, MD) -- The family of a six-year-old child that wandered away from Fallstaff Elementary School is suing Baltimore City.
The incident happened in May of 2025 when the boy left the school alone and walked across busy Reisterstown Road to the shopping center nearly a half-mile away.
Attorney Thiru Vignarajah says Belinda Curry was not told that her son was missing and only found out after he had been located.
Vignarajah says the case is not just about Liam going missing, it's also about the city's failure to immediately notify the family.
He says when a six-year-old child goes missing, every minute counts and the first call should have been to the boy's mother.
