Baltimore mayor announces 2026 summer youth engagement strategy

(Baltimore, MD) -- The Baltimore Mayor's Office has announced this year's summer youth engagement strategy.

Officials say In the Mix in '26, will build on the city's approach from the past three summers to provide opportunities for young people to make the most out of their summer break and stay safe.

Summer activities will include teen concerts, midnight basketball and pool parties. Several recreation centers will be open until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights from June 26th until August 16th.

According to the city curfew, kids between 14 and 17-years-old can't be out in public place or establishments between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights and between 10 p.m. and 6 p.m. on other days of the week.

There are exceptions including minors who are accompanied by a parent and those who are working or attending supervised events.
