(Baltimore, MD) -- Police Commissioner Richard Worley has released more information about a West Baltimore shooting that injured a man and an eleven-year-old boy last night.
The commissioner says two people in a vehicle fired shots into a playground at Pennsylvania Avenue and Dolphin Street shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Worley says investigators believe the 26-year-old man who was shot was the intended target and the child was an innocent bystander.
He also says there were other children at the playground at the time of the shooting.
Mayor Brandon Scott says eleven-year-old children on playgrounds should not have to duck bullets just because men can't resolve their own conflicts.
Police are searching for the suspects.
