(Towson, MD) -- Baltimore County State's Attorney Scott Shellenberger says all four juveniles accused of assaulting an eleven-year-old girl will face prosecution.

The victim was beaten unconscious at a home on Spectator Lane in Owings Mills in May and she was taken to a hospital.

Three girls, aged 12, 13 and 14, have been charged with first-degree assault and a 12-year-old boy faces first and second-degree assault charges.

According to the Baltimore Sun, Shellenberger plans to prosecute the cases in his office's juvenile unit.
