(Randallstown, MD) -- A 16-year-old boy is under arrest in the fatal shootings of a young brother and sister inside their Gwynn Oak home earlier this month.

Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough say Keith Maurice Jr. was taken into custody Wednesday and will be charged as an adult with two counts of murder.

McCullough says the suspect was known to the victims and had some sort of a relationship with 15-year-old Giovanna Myrie, but investigators have not determined a motive.

The killings of Myrie and her nine-year-old brother, Steve Allen, shocked the community after they were found shot to death in their Talles Road home on July 6th.
