(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore's Morgan State University has been named as one of the top public Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the nation.
Forbes magazine based the rankings on factors like graduation and retention rates, alumni earnings, return on investment and high-achieving alumni.
Morgan State comes in at the number four spot, behind number three Prairie View A&M University in Texas, second-ranked Florida A&M University and number one North Carolina A&T State University.
Forbes noted Morgan State for its AI, cybersecurity, journalism, and applied neuroscience programs.
Howard University in Washington, DC is the top private HBCU.
