Baltimore area communities to hold 9/11 remembrance ceremonies, services

In Anne Arundel County, the police and fire departments hosted a ceremony at 9 a.m. in front of the Police Headquarters in Millersville marking the 25th anniversary of the attacks.

Howard County's remembrance at the Garden of Hope in Centennial Park South started at 8:46 a.m.

There held a wreath-lying ceremony to honor all those who lost their lives on 9/11, including four Howard County residents.

Carroll County's memorial ceremony began at 8:30 this morning in Westminster at the 9/11 Memorial, which featured a steel beam recovered from Ground Zero.
