(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore police say eleven juveniles were arrested on Wednesday in connection with a variety of crimes across the city.
Police say the suspects, ranging in age from 14 to 17, were charged with offenses including auto theft, assault, destruction of property and probation violations.
Investigators say one of those arrested was wearing an ankle monitor, and three others had prior arrest records.
Police Commissioner Richard Worley called the trend frustrating and said more must be done to provide accountability, intervention and support for young people involved in crime.
