(Annapolis, MD) -- Marylanders will be heading out to the polls to cast a ballot in the 2026 midterm election today.
Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. statewide and voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to cast a ballot.
Anyone with a mail-in ballot should place it in a secure Dropbox to make sure it is counted.
Voters will be casting ballots for governor, Congress, the General Assembly and local races.
There are also three proposed statewide constitutional amendments.
The most discussed ballot issue has been Question 3, which would change the way Maryland could redraw congressional districts in the future.
