Those calling for peace in Baltimore may be down, but they are not defeated. That's the message an organizer of the Baltimore Ceasefire tried to spread yesterday after two people were shot to death over the weekend.
Erricka Bridgeford spoke at Kingdom Life Church in West Baltimore while a 72-hour ceasefire she helped organize was still in place. Despite the two deaths, Bridgeford calls the effort a success, and Police Commissioner Kevin Davis tells the "Baltimore Sun" he hopes Bridgeford inspires others to do their part in driving down violence in the city.
