BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) —Maryland’s coronavirus cases and positivity rate are rising.
As of 10 a.m. Thursday, officials report an increase of 1,584 new coronavirus cases since Wednesday morning.
Data shows 17 deaths have also been reported within 24 hours.

The statewide positivity rate is now 5.51%.

The state’s positivity rate is 5.51%.
Currently, 1,013 patients are hospitalized due to the virus.
