BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA)— Maryland health officials are reporting 859 new cases of the coronavirus and 34 more COVID-related hospitalizations.
According to data, 12 more people have died from the virus since Sunday morning.
The state’s positivity rate is 5.79%.

Maryland officials have recorded more than 418,000 positive cases of the coronavirus.
The state is currently in Phase 2B of its vaccination distribution plan.
