(Baltimore, MD) -- A Baltimore area Red Cross volunteer is heading to California today to assist with wildfire relief.
Community disaster program manager Reynaldo Vega will assist with providing food, shelter, emotional care, financial assistance and recovery planning.
Vega tells the Baltimore Banner that he will be joining nearly 450 other Red Cross responders to assist in the aftermath of the fires.
Vega also says the public can help with financial donations by texting CAWILDFIRES to 9-0-9-9-9.
