(Baltimore County, MD) -- The trial of a driver charged in the deadly Beltway work zone crash has been postponed until November 3rd.

During a status conference in Baltimore County earlier this week, the defense for Lisa Lea said they need additional time to review evidence in the case and the request was granted on Thursday.

The trial was initially scheduled to begin in April. In March of 2023, Lea and Melachi Brown were driving at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour when they collided, and Lea's car went into the construction zone and killed six workers.
