(Anne Arundel County, MD) -- Anne Arundel County Police believe a pair of carjackers used a man on crutches as bait to slow down a vehicle.
The victim was driving on Brock Bridge Road at around 1 a.m. Friday when they saw a person on crutches crossing the road.
When the driver stopped, two suspects came out of a wooded area forced the driver out of the vehicle at gunpoint and fled in the stolen car.
The vehicle was later found crashed and abandoned in Prince George's County.
Investigators are checking with other jurisdictions to see if there have been similar crimes.
