(Baltimore, MD) -- A man is dead after he was struck by a Metro subway train in Baltimore Tuesday afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the Shot Tower Station on East Baltimore Street, where they found the man trapped under a train.
They were able to free him and begin treatment, but officials say the man, believed to be in his 20s or 30s, died at the scene.
Officials say train service is temporarily suspended in the area during the investigation.
