(Annapolis, MD) -- Democrat Wes Moore is the unofficial winner in the Maryland governor's race, defeating Republican challenger Dan Cox.
Moore has released a statement saying, in part, that it's the greatest honor of his life to serve as governor and he is thrilled to continue working alongside Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller to keep building a Maryland that leaves no one behind.
